it’s our conference meet. i will be running the 1500, which will be the second event of the day and then i will be running the 10k which is the last event. Coach wants me to take the 1500 as a warm up, but i actually want to PR in that event as well. it’s my first year being a distance running since i started track 6 years ago. i’ve always been a mid-distance runner. i did my first 3k couple weeks ago and i got second place. i feel like i’m better in distance than short, but i’ve never ran more than 8 laps in a track. i hope i dont die out when i do my first 10k. wishing myself some luck because i really need it.
